With October comes spooky decorations, scary movies and whole host of terrifying podcasts.

As you’re carving pumpkins and putting together DIY costumes, you’re going to want to set the stage for all things terrifying and chilling. What better way to set the atmosphere than with a host of podcasts that’ll make your skin crawl?

Alex Reagan conducts interviews with experts and develops a narrative told through three seasons. Reagan’s research is robust, covering a wide range of topics related to paranormal activity, from ghost hunting to hauntings.

2. NoSleep Podcast

The NoSleep podcast tells terrifying tales from around the web. Originating as a sub-forum on Reddit.com (you may have heard of it), the NoSleep sub-reddit quickly grew into a widely read source for some of the best horror stories told by other members of the forum.

NoSleep soon became a podcast that retells the best stories from the forum, produced with ominous background music and startling sound effects.

The NoSleep Podcast publishes new stories each week and is currently on its 13th season.
