This week we're back with Angel season 2 and while we don't really care about the mission we're here for one of the show's greatest characters and a special appearance by Justina Machado. Angel is trying to help a pregnant woman through some plot holes and professes his love of Barry Manilow. This week we're chatting about one of the most pointless episodes of Buffy involving a puritanical and repressive orphanage, lots of relationship stress, and a lot of chaste 90s sex scenes. If you only listen for our review of Giles singing 'Behind Blue Eyes' we will understand. Happy Valentines Day with Buffy 418, Where the Wild Things Are! Emily recently attended State of Our Union, a forum taking place during the Cheeto's State of the Union filled with amazing women activists well worth all our time. Haley is enjoying the podcast Women's Work which interviews ladies from so many professions about the awesome things they do.

Buffy 418: Where the Wild Things Are

This week we're chatting about one actress' ambitions to remain young and beautiful forever, a really questionable interpretation of Angel's curse, and the most 2000s fashion we've seen on the show yet in episode 117, "Eternity" For more Hot Chicks with[out] superpowers check out: Hannah has been digging into season 4 of 'Grace and Frankie' and it's still amazing; if you're not watching yet what are you doing. Buffy 417: Superstar

This week on a particularly disappointing episode of Angel Kate is back! Along with her pile-of-trash father who we are inexplicably meant to love while he takes brides from a demonic drug-ring, visits his daughter only to spy on Angel, and generally violates all police ethics in episode 115, "The Prodigal" For more Hot Chicks with[out] Superpowers check out: Hannah just watched "I, Tonya" and recommend you all check it out for a frank look at what happened on one ice rink in the 90s and for amazing performances by Margot Robbie and Allison Janney. Emily is reading "Trouble with Goats and Sheep" by Joanna Cannon about a woman going missing in England in the 1970s and sound younger girls coming of age as they search for her. Haley just finished "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" by Taylor Jenkins Reid all about old Hollywood glamour, and one mysterious actresses' storied love life. 

Angel 115: The Prodigal

This week we chat about the second half of an amazing season 4 two-parter, "Who Are You." Faith is running around in Buffy's body sleeping with Riley, making plans to flee the country, and most heinously being rude to Tara. Meanwhile Buffy is arrested by the Watcher's Council, and both Eliza Dushku and SMG act their assess off.
