In this episode Uncle Joe's volunteer Lizzi Kehoe joins the podcast along with her roommate Jinhee Kim. We discuss what Uncle Joe's is and the intense training volunteers must go through, and how students on campus can take advantage of the resource. As always, we get sidetracked and discuss our own forms of 'self-care' and other projects we have undertaken on campus.

We (Danielle and Desi) talk about how we got started at the paper, and some of our highlights from reporting stories on campus. For our first guest, we bring on our suitemate from our freshman year, Nick Blenko. We re-live some highlights from our first few weeks at school, our first impressions of one another, and how we all got to know each other. Nick discusses joining an acapella group, a fraternity (which he is now president of), and the ups and downs of having a sibling on campus. Thanks to Nick for being our first guest on the pod.

In our first full episode, we explore the different food options available to us as students at WashU. First, we do a draft of our top 5 entree options on campus if we had to live on just those for a whole year.
