Marriage is more than a piece of paper. A union created by God that was never meant to be seperated. He allowed divorce to become a legal act in Moses' time. But what is divorce really affecting? It turns out that the chances of divorce are not 50/50, but that the decisions you make can create a higher likelihood of divorce. Mike shares his journey to realizing that he is more motivated to become a better husband knowing that divorce is an option rather than remaining in the strict "Christian" camp that divorce isn't an option.

Friendship with Others

As we discussed on the last episode, Money and Communication problems are the two pitfalls that tear most marriages apart. If you aren't communicating with one another, you invite others into intimate areas of your life that should be reserved for your spouse alone. These confidants often turn into lovers which deepens the chasm between you and your spouse even more. If you practice healthy communication with your spouse on the day to day, you will most likely find yourself in a very fulfilling relationship.

Communication 101

At the end of the day our money doesn't belong to us, it belongs to God so praying about what to spend it on is important. Love + Respect Part 1

Every relationship has problems. Little problems turn into bigger ones if they are ignored and left to fester or multiply. Mike and Sydney give examples of these little problems and how to address them in your marriage. Many men are blindsided by their spouse or girlfriend wanting a divorce or breakup. Women, however are confused at how on earth their spouse or boyfriend has no idea there was any problem to begin with.
