A: No, the Denim & Boots Podcast is, and will continue to be, a collaborative project between Jake and Thomas. Since the beginning, it's been produced by Thomas.

Wouter has been collecting vintage denim for +15 years, but his passion for denim goes all the way back to the early 90s when I got a job in the first Diesel store in Holland. He was 17 then.

After his time at Diesel, he started a kids brand called Lvis; helped build a successful streetwear brand; and eventually started consulting for the denim industry.

This interview was recorded at the Bluezone trade show in Munich in February 2020.

In this special 'bonus' episode, editor-in-chief of Men's File, Nick Clements, takes us on a tour around some of his favourite spots in Tokyo.

Nick recorded his montage, which he calls 'the Tokyo Crow,' during the CC Show in October 2019, which coincided with the Typhoon named Hagibis.

Nick has been photographing 'revival style' since the 1970s, and he's studied the subcultures surrounding it since its very beginning. In 2005, he published the book Simulacra, which eventually led him to launch Men's File.

Nick has been part of the heritage style scene since its very beginning in the 70s and 80s, long before it infiltrated more mainstream fashion. He's witnessed and documented Japan's role in this scene ever since it slowly started influencing the West in the late 80s. And he's been going to Japan since the early 90s.

In this interview, Nick shares his experiences with heritage styles over the past four decades.
