Episode 6 — Sailor Moon

Wow so it's been a minute! After a super crazy fall season, Joel and Alyssa are finally back to reality with another episode. Or maybe they have just been away in the Matrix this whole time..... *duh duh duhnnnn*

Anyway, this week we take that good good red pill and learn the truth about everyone's favorite 90s cyberpunk action classic, the Matrix. 

How does Alyssa feel about belly buttons (and tiny robot worms that crawl in them)? Why does Joel think this movie is like Monsters Inc.? Did they actually watch a movie that they both enjoy? Let's press play and see what happens.

Episode 5 — The Matrix

This week, the truth comes out: Joel makes really poor life choices. Well, in games that is. Which works out perfectly since we are playing the BioWare classic RPG Dragon Age: Origins. Good thing you don't have to make choices in that game, right?

So, how did Joel fare in this wild fantasy romp of friendship and betrayal, love and war? Pretty bad, it seems.

This week, Joel shows Alyssa the movie Final Fantasy: Spirits Within, and reception is mixed at best (from both parties). How did this movie get an all-star cast of Disney characters? Episode 2 — Labyrinth

In our pilot episode, Alyssa faces two things that she strongly detests: the memory that Taco Bell exists and the Planet of the Apes movies. Can Joel provide a good argument that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is actually a cinematic classic? Will Alyssa go against all reason and actually really enjoy it?
